This particular quote is true for Anwar Ibrahim and his beloved wife Datin Seri Paduka Wan Azizah Wan Ismail. For us in CU4M, Wan Azizah is truly a reincarnation or manifestation of the Late Mother Theresa of our time.
As a wife of a politician, Wan Azizah has endured it all. She has been ridicule, threatened, and even mocked by many government supporters as she stands behind her husband in the time of crisis. It is her who started the reformation movement while her husband was in jail. And it is her who stood by Anwar Ibrahim during the political turbulence which shook the very ground of the Malaysian political and justice system.
Wan Azizah is truly a force to be reckon with. Despite being the petite and beautiful human being that she is, she managed to keep her composure during the time of crisis. Yes, there are times that she cried, who doesn't? However, we are proud to say that she is an icon of truth, chivalry and loyalty. Not all politicians wife would able to endure what she had faced during her lifetime. And now it is up for the people of Kajang to make a stand.
Can Wan Azizah Wan Ismail be the next state assembly member for Kajang? Yes. Definitely Yes.
But what ever happens, we will always support her in any way possible.
